Congrats on your progress on your back log 😊 6 is better than I’ve done. But I actually managed to knock off a few games that have long haunted my backlog. I finally beat GTA 5’s story and Assassin creed’s black flag, the sad thing with both of those is I didn’t even realize how close to the end I was in those games and I felt foolish adterwards. I played two missions on creed and then the credits start playing and didn’t even realize I beat it. I also beat South Park Fractured But Whole and I motivated myself to beat it by committing to live-streaming my gameplay the whole way through. As I predicted I got distracted by Persona 3 Reload, but I have gone back to persona 5 Royal and have gotten farther than I ever have so I’m on track. I saw this really good video on KZbin where this guy broke down the psychology about why people struggle finishing or even playing games and he had some good strategies to overcome it and that helped me get past the mental block that kept me off that game. My current save is at 84 hours after finishing heist 3, I have a feeling it’s going to take me way more than 100 lol, I believe my persona 4 Golden save clocked in around 170 hours.

Nice!!! I’m going to have to go and find that video you mentioned. That sounds so interesting to me. I just finished Batman: Arkham Origins yesterday so I think I’m going to go back to my GTA: San Andreas save. Doubt it will take me much longer to finally finish it up. My switch is telling me that I’ve spent 83 hours in P5R and I am rolling into the 5th palace. I think there are 9 or 10 all together so yeah, this it’s gonna be well over 100 for me as well.

Happy to hear you enjoyed Klonoa 2! I played it for the first time as part of the Phantasy Reverie Series as well and really enjoyed it. Here's hoping we get more Klonoa in the future for sure! Major congrats on completing Order of Ecclesia. I was able to get through Dawn of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin, but OoE was BRUTAL 😅 Great video, Steph!

Thanks, Rusty! OoE felt brutal when I initially played it at release. Like I said I could not, for the life of me, get past that darn spider boss. Hit the same wall this time around but I just kept pushing. I died a bunch while playing the game…but I finished it!!!

I find Super Mario Land on the GB to be rough. Not a big fan of it at all. I definitely want to play 6 Golden Coins sooner rather than later.

Awesome video as always Steph! I love your content, and your prospective on games. I've managed to finish 5 games so far (had to throw in some non-RPGs) to get to that number. I'm currently playing Harvestella, and I'm in the final chapter, but I'm loving the game so much I don't want it to end. I don't know about you, but I'll purposely stretch it out when I'm in those moods. Keep up the good work, and I gotta go check out some of your other videos, cause I think I missed that YS IX one. I have been watching your Channel vids for the past few months, yes I'm a new subscriber. I highly enjoy your content. I have a suggestion and please don't take it the wrong way, I find your audio kind if low and hard to hear your great dialog. Might I suggest a lavilier mic like the Hollyland lark M2, supper small and adds better clean er audio. Keep up the Amazing content❤

I aint even gon lie, I THOUGHT I was gon do well in knocking games off my backlog, but I done messed around and got into Elden Ring again... Not the new DLC, just the base game. I was all in when it came out 2 years ago. IT IS AMAZING, but I realized how much it was taking me away from everything else, so I shelved it. I'm still nowhere near completing the story and I'm clock in at 249 hours... Aint nobody finishing no multiple games this year. Ima do well if I finish this ONE in the next 5 months 😅

Small victories can give you some momentum to make great progress. I ended up finally beating Assassins Creed Black Flag this year and it really didn’t take me that long because my save was at the second to last mission and I didn’t even realize it lol. But that feeling I got after I finally checked that off my list was amazing and I was able to finish 2 games more after that. Tackling those short small games in your backlog can give you that shot in the arm to get a few more games knocked out

Wario Land is a game I spent so much time with as a kid! I bought it from the 3DS eShop before it closed so I hope to revisit it soon 😀 Not played any of the other Wario Land games though. I've beaten 28 games so far this year which im pretty impressed with! Things are about to slow down though as im about to start Dragon Quest XI 😀

I’m so surprised that this isn’t a thing some they already did it for the GBA trilogy. The only thing that might be the issue is the touch screen stuff. If I remember correctly Dawn of Sorrow uses that touch screen a lot.
