OP has way more restraint than I do. I lost my mother to cancer almost 3 years ago. You best believe I’m swinging if a woman even tries to take my mother’s place. My brothers and I agreed no one will replace her. I made it clear to my mother on her death bed I was holding her while she was dying in my arms. I told her she will forever be my queen and that no one will ever replace her. I miss my mother dearly every mother’s day since her passing is very painful for me. I’m a mother myself but I can’t help but bawl. The anniversary of her death is hard as well as her birthday. The step mother is a monster. I would have fought her so fast. You only get one mother in life. Unfortunately I know there’s some people who have bad mothers which I’m sorry they do. This video made me upset and emotional. I have no problem with my dad seeing other women I made it very clear to him. As long as the woman respects my dad because he deserves nothing but the best. Also if the said woman does not disrespect my mother’s name nor memory. He was by my mother’s side the whole entire fight with cancer. She fought for over 10 years with cancer she would beat it and then it would come back in another place. At the end the doctors said they couldn’t do anything anymore. That the cancer spread throughout her body. She needed to be put in hospice care. We told them she was coming home and we will keep her comfortable until the time came. They would send a nurse to come see her. Just watching my mom declining so fast hurt me so bad. I’m sorry for ranting I know no one would care. But I really hope OP and her family will get through this hardship:

The thing about marrying a widower is that he didn’t divorce his wife she died. He was still very much in love with her and of course still loves her. If you can’t handle that then don’t marry a widower.

4:01 Dang, that description hit close to home.Sounds literally like my dad. One time, he was giving me unwanted "advice" on how to use the washing machine like I was some retarded (yea dad, I totally didn't know that if you pressed the "half of water level" button it would only fill half way, lol. Then, he proceded to lecture me about how I was just on my phone and "not paying attention to him" and ignored me for the rest of the day.Good times.

sadly there are plenty of people like this. My father wasn't perfect either. On the other hand, once my brother when he was little talked about streaming his gameplay and I made a comment that made it seem like a bad idea. I don't remember what exactly, but I still remember it to this day and I'm ashamed of it, because we have such a big impact on our little ones and we should tread very carefully with what we say. I tried telling him it would be awesome to do it many times after but he never tried it. I wasn't an adult yet, though that is no excuse. I want to be a good father and husband someday.

I mean I can understand maybe her being anxious about it but if it was just that she could have asked OP about first aid steps to take if one happens. I’ve been around people with epilepsy and they always seem to somehow know when it’s about to happen and somehow do it in private because I’ve never actually witnessed it happening myself. I guess they alert a close friend or something to help. Either way I’ve never been given reason to think it’s a big deal. If one were ever to happen to me I would just handle it the best way I can I suppose.

I randomly got epilepsy @ 30 & had been w/my husband of 10yrs but I still felt like a burden on him (despite his constant reassurance otherwise) bc we went from walking home from sushi to a life filled w/Dr.'s, tests, constant med changes & this isn't factoring in what the seizures themselves did to our lives... so it hurts to hear this!!! I said this on a similar story, but I say it again here. There are so many people out there that do not want to believe how often this is true, but it is so very much a regular thing that is going on in this country especially. That is what happens when you are allowed to believe you are the center of the universe (aka Main Character Syndrome). "Sharon" blatantly displays that, and it had to start with her own parents. The OP is in the right, and "Sharon" needs psychiatric help.

The very beginning she needs to air out her insecurities about being a teen girl who obviously hates her step mom because “you’re not my real mom.” I know the mom came off as pushy but at the same time I don’t understand why doing things like changing the house decor= disrespecting my life and my dead mother. Comes off as her understandably upset her mom is no longer around rather than step mom is a controlling bitch Also the whole I’m not a child thing is understandable up until she seems to not be able to control her emotions and act like a brat. You’re taking it out of context. She doesn’t mean he’s literally better than everyone else. She just means that he has to have more resilience than the average person because his illness makes him stigmatized. It’s a figure of speech. @@johnduquette7023You just proved my point. You are reading it in the most literal sense possible and missing the point either intentionally to be dramatic or unintentionally because you need to work on reading comprehension. Idk maybe because you don’t like OP so you are going out of your way to exploit the english language and unravel the point on purpose. Or because you are young but either way it’s not a good look.

She isn't the one with epilepsy and said that it was "Embarrassing" and "Humiliating" for HER and her husband.😐 Why the hell is she embarrassed and Humiliated?? 🤨 If she really loved him she shouldn't be caring about that nonsense at all.

Claiming that her father shouldn't get involved with things between her and her stepmother. Which I'm guessing has to do with ops behavior and she doesn't like being scolded for acting out.
