If I had of been OP's mom I would have taken the ex and his new wife to court and revisit the custody arrangement. That woman is clearly unhinged and shouldn't have been allowed around OP and his sister. I have heard the second part of this story. If OP's mom had of taken dad and step mom back to court, it would have put them in their place and this probably wouldn't have happened.

1) So sorry for OP to have such a crappy dad and awful step mom. Wow, they really are horrendous. I'm glad mom threatened getting police involved, it's too bad she didn't. After comments: Not surprise it eventually turn into NC and a restraining order. 2) That sounds like a really fun baby shower. Sad for step-bro's breakup, but no doubt for the best that relationship ended before wasting any more of his time. Pity that step-mom is so awful and idiot dad too. I'm glad most all her ideas were shot down. It was way too trusting of them to let stepmom go to set up decor for the party. It's good the venue made contact so this stuff could be removed, and that the pizza party went well. Yup, it's nice OP's son will never know that awful grandma.
