This is a great documentary. I would love to see Dancing With the Stars add a “Chicago Stepping” category to their competition. It would add new interest and excitement to the show and improve the ratings.

I thoroughly enjoyed this informative documentary. Y’all are absolutely correct when you say people are there to dance in their fine clothes. I’ve visited Chicago with a class from Las Vegas & we partied morning, noon, night & sunrise. We visited famous places like 50 yard line, some place Blue club? & about 2 others & never had a negative incident. It’s one of my most memorable trips. I love the dance but you must have a partner that you can follow. Thank you so very much for sharing the information. Stay Safe, Be Well & Enjoy the holidays.🫶🏽

Walking is the most elegant of all the categories. Shout out to all the steppers from The original family of the 50 Yard Line! 75th and Vernon. You know if you know!

I loved the video but more importantly, the history. The more I watched I said to myself I suspected that ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' got its inspiration from the Majestic Gents Annual Steppers' Contests. I would have liked to heard more from longtime female partners of the male participants or the women involved (like Ty's wife, Celeste) in making these steppers' contests happen in general. Congratulations on a job well done!

Love this presentation! History is so very important. I’m glad Chicago Style Stepping has been added to the books. Seeing the fashion history really hit home as I remember how the attire was/is a part of the dance. From the Gentleman in their hats to the Ladies in their gotta see them shoes!! WELL DONE

Tyrone Winfield n his parter was cold I seen that stepping competition n they was on fire!!!! They were no.33 wearin grey n they was slayin everything movin. They was smooth, ruff, gliding, floating on air, spinning, splitting it was like watching james brown steppin!! They was cold with it 🥶🥶🥶 Id wish they’d show more of that contest! When I first got to Chicago bout a year after I got here I bought a steppin dvd to see what it was about cuz I love all dance styles. . I went to a club one night n a women grabbed me as I was walking by n started steppin with me. I was like okay this is steppin, I need to learn this she was fly n could dance. Man I never learned ha! ha! But it’s never too late I’ve been here for 19 years.smh Steppin is for the smooth, fly, n cool people. You cant go wrong with steppin it’s the coolest. 😎😎😎

I love this documentary. Especially the history on how it all started and how it has progressed to what I am seeing now. It is 3:00 am here in MD & I am watching it for the second time to make sure I didn't miss anything. Sending my thanks to everyone who had a hand in this production. You all did an excellent job and I am looking forward to seeing more.❤❤❤❤❤

This is an amazing film! Thank you so much! This answered so many questions I've had about this gorgeous dance style! I live in a rural area between Toledo, Detroit, & Chicago; I've been watching Steppers on YT for a few years, but I've never seen it live. Even on the laptop screen, it is electrifying. BIG LOVE to all involved in getting this doc out here where folks like me can learn about Steppin. Be well.
