Step fathers have no rights or laws to back up anything including the time put into said kids that are not their own. No blood ties even if said real blood father is dead the step still wont have no say regardless if you even tugh a hair on said child/children and the mother issues a complaint youre fucked. You can face fines up to potential jail time and a law suit ifshe so pleases to go futher even if what said mother says is a lie to set you up.
