Came here from the link in Mumbo Jumbo's video. You make rocks and stones and very dull stuff sound like fun, you're awesome 😃

After watching your video with mumbo jumbo, as many people did, you actually made me feel a little better about some of the questions I have asked geologists. I've always been somewhat of a rockhound and I have a lot of fossils and other minerals that I wish I could identify. I may have to start emailing the local university :-)

Thank you for spending time with Mumbo Junbo! Do geologists ever make a projection for the geologic timescale? I mean, do they say, in the future I expect erosion to “X” or plate tectonic subduction to result in “y” or “in time, erosion will result in “Z”. I mean - is there a risk taking hypothesis made on a geological tune scale for any landscape?

Excellent video. I came here from Mumbo's channel, seeing the spark in your eye talking about something you loved just made me curious to see you in your element (pun not intended, but works in my favor). Glad I came, this was awesome. Thank ya-

This is so cool! I've watched a few of your videos and I've become really interested in geology now. I didn't know much about the subject before but I'm going to research more!

Beautiful region. Great to see what real depth of knowledge can be gained through geology.

Should one use GPS to annotate their location on the map? And should one use a digital map? Smartphone nowadays have GPS and maps built-in, so it make sense to try to digitalize the data early. And like others, I came here from Mumbo Jumbo video. Great content for one who like rocks! About that, I remembered @GoodTimesWithScar (the one who build the pointy mountains in the video) said he love geology and used to collect rocks!

I have got my bread earned since 1982 by doing bedrock mapping & compiling geological maps in different scales & different countries in Europe and Africa. So far, never had the weather or time in my observations, which I have done with the help of GPS & digital though book. But even in case you still only use pencil and note book, without GPS you are only waisting your time...

0:15 My guess is it's a sedimentary rock, because it's "reddish grey" and that's probably from small bits of sediment being squished.
