In molecular genetics, an open reading frame (ORF) is the part of a reading frame that has the ability to be translated. An ORF is a continuous stretch of codons that begins with a start codon (usually AUG) and ends at a stop codon(usually UAA, UAG or UGA). en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_reading_frame

Hello. How do you avoid growing other things? Or how do you avoid being analyzing other molecules, which will be contaminating our analysis?

Can we implement this process for Fungi and Protozoans as well?

I dont think extracting DNA is trivial, you would be amazed by the scientific loopholes this people are running on when they think they extracted dna from a sample.

Love your vids, but I find 1:08 to be disingenuous. An alternative argument would be the bioinformatic/computational part is trivial and easy to do. Just plug in the data and the computer does all the work. Depending on how good of a computer you have, it could be done in hours, minutes, seconds. All this to say, there was no need to make that comment--just as I would never say that to a bioinformatician.
