For anyone that passed that free music theory book; it literally takes 30 minutes to read and it was flicking a switch. I all of a sudden understood everything. Well the basics. You learn to talk before you learn the alphabet right? It’s similar in my opinion.

Always the best! I started learned music theory with you, and I was really amazing at how easy music theory was. Then I started following other "youtube monster teachers" too (Beato, Neely, Micheal New, Dave Bennet and others), but thanks to you I started using two things from the get-go: chord inversions and modes. If it wasn't for you, I would NEVER had grasped easily these two vital concepts, your videos (and your super-concise books) helped me a lot. Thanks you again (and again and again and again) - you really deserve to be way more known! (a suggestion: try do some "demonetized" videos where you analyze the theory behind famous songs - I know it's not your style of videos, and I respect that, but it helps a lot to get more subs... and worked really well for most of the youtubers above :) I love you guys!

@@HackMusicTheory Ah yes I suscribed to the mailing list a while ago ^^ I had a very rough year in 2019, and then after that the pandemic crisis hit so it changed all the meaning of the music I was doing. I dumped my project of priting my EP on vinyl because it didn't made any sens to me, and focus more on other project, more in line with my view of society right now (typically my projects are on the very hard-techno/acidcore side of music, played only with hardware and always live. the kind of stuff I played in rave parties before). For the music theory side of it, I use locrian, phrygian, harmonic minor rather than the whole aeolian music I wrote before this :) Thanks a lot to both of you for the role you play(ed) in my musical education :D
