I don’t like the consistency we are developing in terms of missing spot kicks. Missed vs United in normal time and today as well. I think we need to quit sentiments and emotions and have at least 2-3 designated dead ball specialists. Say penalty donation, whenever it’s done, half the time player misses, Trossard, Odegard, Sterling… Ode miss got us knocked out in the process, Trossard almost caused an unwanted draw v lowest ranked CL team & Sterling lost more confidence than gained by unnecessarily being given penalty donation! Stop doing this, let regular takers take it till Saka returns!!

Should never have been given that penalty. They need to stop handing penalties to struggling players like peps to shy babies. The fact that it worked just a little with Fabio Vieira a couple of seasons ago and quite well with Kai Havertz last season doesn’t mean it will always work for everyone.

Havertz is not a striker, he is bailing us out by playing that position, Sterling should not of been given the opportunity to take the penalty, all it’s done by the miss is one step sideways, won’t say back, but he had his best game in an Arsenal shirt, anyway forget the penalty, we won and that’s all that matters, we played well and got the three points!
