@joyfulvulture Actually in stermy's config he has cg_leveltimerdirection set to 1, which means that his timer should count down. So stermy uses a counting down timer, whoever recorded this has a timer which counts up.

Consider that it is a huge LAN-event with lots of noise. Its not always you can hear whats going on ingame cus of that.

FOV is Field Of View. 90 is default. Imagine a 90 degree angle with you at the apex. that's how far into your periphery you can see. An FOV of 130 would show much more, but at the expense of fitting more info into the same space, making everything look smaller and further away.

Im guessing the switch to guantlet is to elimate any sound being made (from Rail and LG), so the oppenent doesn't know where he is. But he doesnt use it so effectively IMO.

different FOVs are set to different weapons according to their features fov for gauntlet focuses on moving I think this video is made from a demo so it doesn't actually show/switch the FOVs of Stermy

"Field Of View" i guess ... the more degrees the FOV the better your overview, or the sooner you see your enemy coming in from the side. i turned mine up a few degrees from the standard, and the 16:9-ratio screen also helps. I guess the FOV was more important with 4:3-monitors. :)

@NoDoSwLa Was pretty sweet actually. Stermy had the advantage with LG and Rail, while av3k only had rockets. He went in aggressive at close range and forced a fight where he had the advantage. Was poor play from Stermy, though.

Take a look at that LG hit @ 3:20, it went right into the bridge and yet it was counted for. That's what i don't like about low ping lg players....you're basically fucked. Nevertheless, vgg from both players.
