Easily the best 10.32 minutes of anything I’ve ever watched. What a story. What an inspiration. What a man. It’s great to see you back online but more importantly great to see you back on your feet. ‘Falling down is part of life. Getting back up is living’. Look after yourself Dan 👍🏻

Wow. And wow again. That was a piece of brutal and raw reflective art. Dan, you’re made of geological strength stuff, the same stuff as the bloody mountains! Sorry to hear the doctors news but so glad you have your take on it and the drive to not let it hold you back from doing what makes you feel like you. The EU trip series of videos is absolutely incredible, must have watched each video at least twice, the beauty of it all, the running and the backdrop, really comes out and the comedy and honesty give if such a full and genuine tone. This is all inspirational. You fella, are inspirational. Keep battling, grinding, and running your bloody legs off. Absolutely the most on point running+lifestyle+gear+food&drink guru on the online. Your family must be insanely proud, if not a tad nervous for the next inevitable superhuman effort/trip! This one got me in parts, and that’s what makes your work unique and up there with the best. All the best with your repair work Dan, here’s hoping more people get onto Patreon and support what you’re doing.

Dan Whitehead goes beyond the enjoyment of the art mate, how can it not? It’s powerful stuff, but so important for us all to hear. Your case and your experience with Crohns has completely educated me on something I knew pretty much nothing about, and I’m sure I’m not alone on that. That in itself is worth it’s weight. A TDS effort is genuinely galaxy level craziness but it’s now so completely expected! The Mayvers Monster. You’ll probably go and smash that one too! No mention of your incredible race position - you’re too modest Dan! Huge congrats on the race and your progress through it; the live race positions don’t lie!

Dan, mate, seriously, I'm not sure you appreciate how much your videos mean to others out here in the world. I guess to you it's an outlet, a cathartic creative endeavour to remember through sharing your experience of the world. But It's work like this that helps pick us up, gee us on, remind us not to take it all too seriously but to enjoy the ride. This video in particular is practically spiritual in it's vibe. Not religious but soulful and deep. So thank you for having the guts and drive to create it. Many people would have simply stayed down in the dark pit of depression following what you had with TDS but it's testament to your character that you picked your weary broken ass back up and are slowly, doggedly, dragging your body and mind back on track. I'm almost certain stronger and more determined than ever.

I was going to put off watching this until tomorrow (it’s just gone 1AM here in the UK) because I expected it to be quite a dark and difficult watch. But what can I say; I’m glad my child-like inability to delay gratification kicked in haha. The fact that you’ve come through something so shitty yet have emerged on the other side with the ability to produce something so positive and hopeful (not to mention; visually stunning), is truly an inspiration to me. I think that “maybe I’m just lucky” is going to be my mantra for whenever life feels like it’s weighing me down from now on. Thank you for posting this, Dan.
