It could just be an illusion with the screw head countersunk in the clear plastic, but it looks like the screw head is ever so slightly proud. Is this the case? I could be completely off here, but it always concerned me. Could that start causing scratches in the balls? I never had a game with the glass off to feel it. Good tips as always, Kyle!

Love the tech school concept in the channel. Is there any for foo fighters. Having an issue with frequent air balls and fine tuning on auto plunge alignment needed.

Just skip to the last step. Rub your finger on it and say "that's perfect" and that should be the end of it

This video doesn’t fix the fact that the 4-6 different machines I’ve played, from pro to LE, have all done this. Maybe it’s time to slow down and actually make sure something works before cranking it out in massive volume. Your quality control is taking a massive dip.

The mod only makes it rigid, you still have to level the line plastic.

Mine was perfect at first, but a few months later the rubber washers have compressed slightly and need a minor adjustment.

I imagine it likely is set right in the factory (at least, most of the time, and within human competence). But you can't always account for shipping and the elements. Screws and bolts are not immune to rattling inside a crate while on a truck, or with plain ol' gameplay. Even humidity can cause a thread to move slightly. Reminds me of buying bowed/twisted 2x4 lumber, and lamenting "Why aren't these just straight and flat from the lumberyard?!" Well, they are. But age and life changes the state of things.

Changes in temp, humidity, shipping conditions, and human factors all affect what was set at the factory. I find it funny people think a new game can be played out of the box without tweaking and dialing it in

This video is not meant to imply you need to do this yourself when your game arrives. After hundreds of games, if the chum line becomes raised or lowered and is no longer level, this video shows you how you can make the proper adjustments to correct any issues you may be having.
