@aunttim2102 Ok maybe not outperformed, he still got more yards than him tho. Plus they had the same pass completion rate. Stetson did have one less td and an int, so I’d say they performed pretty evenly. That being said Stetson Bennett is not overrated

The progression from '19 to '22 is just insane. Even more than his mechanics it's impressive how they were able to reign in his "fuck it, somebody's down there" mentality without making him totally risk averse. Dude would make the best throw youve ever seen in your life and then make you question how he made the high school JV team in the same series. Lmao

His progression and development definitely went through the roof. Remember, last season he threw for over 4000 yards with a 68% completion rating AND did not play in the fourth quarter for 8 games.

Stetson was about as pure a gunslinger as you'll ever see, especially by the 2022 season. Reckless, gritty, creative, cocky, clutch. He’d make at least 3 or 4 “wtf are you DOING” throws per game, but even those plays added to the sheer thrill of watching him play (as long as it wasn’t a backbreaking pick six) He was a bat out of hell, a tightly wound ball of determination with a chip the size of Montana on his shoulder. Pure heart and guts.

Sinkwich, Belue, Bobo, Greene, Shockley, Stafford, Murray, Fromm. Bennett stands above them all. The UGA QB GOAT. Others were more talented, others were better athletes and leaders. But nobody was a winner like SBIV. Twice in CFP games with the season on the line he led the offense down the field and threw TDs to win the game.

There were no issues in 2021 because in 2020 he earned his chops. I still remember that road game against Arkansas during the Covid year. He truly became my Quarterback during that 2020 Season. So when it came to winning time I never had to worry about Bennet. This nigga was truly a Dawg. Shit damn near bring a tear to my Eye.
