Sir should a beginner get started with jetpack compose to develop Android apps or is it necessary to go through xml and stuff like that?

You don't need XML, just start with Compose. For compose you need to know Kotlin language. I've recently made an amazing course about Kotlin, check my website: stevdza-san.com
