Steve isn’t weak, he’s just very hard to pilot, most of his best and safest moves are locked behind stances and cancels, but if you know what you’re doing, he may be the safest character in the game.

Steve is weak don't try to overplay him is a safe character? Yes but is weak in a game when all characters have 50/50 mix ups crazy plus frames and a lot of good lows

@@jkdman2007 absolutely, no top Steve complains about his weaknesses nearly as much as the average player does, it’s funny tho because over the most recent patch, I’ve been seeing tons of comments about Steve getting an indirect nerf over a ki charge while in heat into his only heat move which is a 50/50 grab that only has one route you can take for this setup, into b1 counter hit into full combo, the counter hit properties of a ki charge have been removed after grab for I believe everyone but these Steve players are in shambles over this combo they probably didn’t even know existed (I know I sure as hell didn’t)

@@adrianmedina3508 I mean you’re not wrong, but that doesn’t make him weak, he has the tools, they’re just not as easy to do as most of the cast. Like I said, all his best and safe moves are locked behind stances, stance cancels and duck cancels, he just has a lot of buttons to press and hold to be effective.
