Steven and Sue, great point and counterpoint! My granddaughter, born 2001, has been asking astrology questions of me since she was ten or so. I moved house a couple of years ago and gave her my astrology library. Greek/ Roman, Vedic, Chinese and Celtic mythology. She'll find her way through it, as she pleases. ( You can't eat the whole cow in one day).

Hi Steve and Sue, I have Chiron in pisces in the 7th house. My biggest lesson has been through learning to love and accepting myself just as I am. After this review of my experience my life began to get better and my relationship with others improved with clear boundaries. What a great discussion! It opened my mind to the Chironic message. The idea that our subconscious informs, undergirds or undermines our conscience mind is central to Freudian as well as Jungian psychology. I recall a Chron myth that describes Chrions pain as the rejection from both the human and animal. Both wanted him to take a side in the war but Chiron refused, opting for balance. We are being pulled apart in every which way these days... Divide and conquer! Our rebellion is to keep it together. Peace and love from the States 🙏

Had a dream last night that the morning sun moved an inch or so back and forth on the horizon and then instantly was on the other side of the planet , it was suddenly dark as night, and then it was back again. About a month ago I had two dreams on consecutive nights where the middle of the day went dark as night , instantly, and I work up both times right at that moment. I have gotten prophetic dreams my whole life , but I never really know for sure what they’re about until it happens and then I get goosebumps and know that’s what my dream was.

At my Chiron return, I won a prestigious medical school competition for community healthcare innovation, and acquired a tiny therapy horse and his best mate (also a mini therapy horse), with whom i launched a wellness program for urban children at risk for trauma, and to help mitigate adverse childhood experiences. At the time when my miniature equine facilitated therapy proposal won the competition, I had not been aware that it was coinciding with my Chiron return. What did i name my tiny healing horse? Chiron, after the wounded healer centaur. I named his best friend "Shifa," which means "healer/healing" in Arabic.

Chiron has been in my 11th house for at least 12 years. No friend or social network. When Jupiter transited through that house I did not even make a single new acquaintance. I could never do therapy as natal Chiron is in my 12th house in Gemini. Horses are beautiful. My only interactions with any living beings are when I feed the rooks. They behave completely egotistical. And are very cautious.

I am facing my natal Mars conjunct Chiron at 8 degrees Aquarius (square my sun). Mine has to do with childhood sexual abuse from my father resulting in painful relationships with men. I looked at this many years ago and it has spiralled back now. I am also in my sixties and want to consciously embody this part of my journey. i just turned 30 last october and i've been obsessed with astrology since i was 15. don't know how i could've gotten this far without it. barely know anyone my age who's Really into it beyond knowing their big 3. i think a lot of my peers assume it to be too "whimsical" or something, like it couldn't possibly hold any weight in the real world struggles they face. All my peers are broke, worn out, overworked, see no real future for themselves. Astrology gives me some hope but still i struggle not to cave under the pressure of oppressive systems. i pray every day for a better future. speaking of carl jung , he has the exact same jupiter-saturn trine as me. jupiter at 23 degrees libra, saturn at 23 degrees aquarius. i looked at his chart recently and my jaw dropped. what are the odds?

At your comment about Carl Jung, Steve, I immediately sat up. I am one of those who have recently started looking into his perceptions of life. I have followed my horoscope for 60 years, and I have experienced many non-causal links previously without the definition of "synchronicity" to describe them. As an Aquarius, I track and see many advances in technology that we can use to ease the world's environmental issues. But, you are absolutely right, over the last year I have come to realise it is the personal awareness of our universal connectedness that will determine whether we overcome the challenges of a globally connected population approaching 9 billion.

Thank you. My God this was great. So many gems. Yes there are times to fall pn the floor and cry out God help me. I also experience the fire getting hotter each time i have to walk through it again. And also not avoid the grief. Right now I am accompanine my so through his gealing journey. 20 years an addict. He finally wants to get clean. I know he is scared because he doesn't remember what it is like to be straight. The plan is for him to go to clinic and take ibogaine. I know the break down that hallucinagins can bring on and arising like the Phoenix afterwards, the desolving of the false self to find the true self. I will call on Chiron to emerge from his cave and aid him and me through this. I listened twice. Really what i needed to hear❤

I’m unpacking and walking at the moment in the muddy jungle of the wounds of myself and my family lineage. It’s good to learn to own every bit and piece of yourself and your background, to cultivate a strong identity so spirit can flow naturally through your body. The wounds become than your allies, just like Pluto and Saturn. I love their energies!

I definitely experience chiron transits & see them in my friends too. Human Design identifies certain people who are more susceptible to Chiron than others (those w 6-line profiles.) So maybe this is why Steve thinks Chiron transits "don't work."

I was 29 years old when I started studying Astrology. I would have done it in my teens but I couldn't afford the course until I was 29.. I'm 60 now. and those I knew back then that were studying Astrology were in their mid 20's... Interesting you look at it that the younger generations are inheriting the state of the world??? They are a part of co creating it too you know... The younger generations are a big part of the massive consumerism, so much so that they are the only young generation that have such a throw away attitude toward everything, of any generation throughout history!!
