Since the 1st video I sa a couple days after January 6, I have wondered who the other journalists were. This is why... I watched a report on KZbin by a female Asian reporter with her cameraman who were o at the site where Ashley Babbit was just before she was shot. There was a staircase leading to the floor they were on, and a large crowd of people coming up the stairs, pushing on the glass top doors. As she was reporting she directed the camera toward the doors. At that very Ashlet was in front of the doors, then a young man picked her up, pushing her through the broken top glass and a shot rang out. The reporter directed her cameraman to stay on the young man who immediately turned around, picked up a backpack removing a black cap from it, then fled down the stairs behind them. It was a shocking video that prompted me to watch it several times. This video was burned into my brain after hearing of Ashley Babb's death. A couple days later I tried to find the video again. It was obviously removed to never surface again. I often wondered about the reporter, the cameraman, and the young man involved and how this played into such a tragic end

I pled no contest to a misdemeanor 35 years ago and it has burned me up ever since. I didn’t have the money to fight the case and prove my side. Adjudication was withheld but it has haunted me my whole life. Job applications will now ask if you were ever charged even if adjudication was withheld. It actually cost me a job 25 years later.

I have lost so much respect for both Steve Baker and Glenn Beck for doing this.. The reason I lost respect for Steve Baker is because one either believe in something or they don’t. You either believe in your mission or you don’t. He sat here for 2 years being praised and lauded as such a courageous journalist. “Facing prosecution and being fearless. Preserving a Free Press in this country is more important than me/my freedom. I’m doing this for everyone”.. Then pleads guilty and takes a plea deal. Seriously?? As I said above, you either believe in something or you don’t. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying what he did is something I don’t understand. I wouldn’t want to face prison or any severe punishment either. But I didn’t sit here for 2 years and allow people to heap praise and toss flowers at me for being so brave and principled. The reason I lost respect for Glenn is because he cosigned everything above. The only reason 95% of us even know who Steve Baker is is because he’s on Glenn Beck show talking about this stuff. Glenn spent the past 2 years being the one healing praise and tossing flowers at Steve Baker. Using his story to make it about an “existential constitutional threat”. We should be so scared because we’re losing our country. Here’s this guy whose doing the right thing. Here’s how you can donate for his attorneys fees... Then completely co-signs and applauds Steve Baker’s decision to toss those brave journalist ethics aside and admit to wrongdoing. This is the type of stuff that really makes me wonder whether we are all being played for fools by everyone across the entire political/social/media spectrum.
