Nothing wrong with Blake being your favorite player, that is for sure. The guy plays with a great intensity and passion for the game. I love how he refuses to back down from anybody and has a knack for clutch shots. He also had what, 14 assists in 1 quarter which is an NBA record.

yeah, I feel you man. Every time I watched the Lakers this season, Blake does SOMETHING either defense or offense. Yes he misses shots, but who doesn't? Give him some slack, he's been playing pretty good the past week.

If he wasn't in LA where the spotlight is more intense than anywhere else in the league, then he would NOT be getting all this hate. It's just that fans are frustrated that they can't have the greatest PG in the world as their back-up and people just like to put the blame on him when a big team like the lakers start losing. Hey, he gives it his all and that's all you can ask. Some people are just gonna hate and the best thing u do is just ignore them.

I saw Steve Blake at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

He is decent. Trust me, there are many people who are worse than him. Plus, Steve is a great shooter and has proven he can hit clutch shots (last year game 4 and 7 vs nuggets) and vs the rockets 2 years ago. I think it is ridiculous on hating him just for missing some shots. If he hadn't scored 19 crucial points vs the Nuggets in game 7 last year, the lakers wouldn't have moved on. Plus, he hustles as hard as he can and gives it his all on defense. The lakers need someone with that energy.

@LegendaryFilipino Goudelock is a much more consistent 3 point shooter. But Blake has better court vision and has much more veteran experience. He has had a lot of offensive pressure last season. With Hill, Jamison, and Meeks. I believe he will be much more productive

Before Blake got to LA he was a decent starting NBA PG, who pretty much any team would have loved to have as their back up PG. Then made the mistake of signing with LA. LA is easily the worst team to play for. Fans who just go to the game to be seen, having to play with Kobe, and all the pressure from the media and "fans" who expect a championship every season. New York is the 2nd toughest and is still a thousand times better than LA.
