I’ll back anyone who is in the Albion dugout but I just pray that his style of play will not be like what I’ve seen from the likes of Allardyce, Pulis and Bruce himself tbh at Newcastle. USA Baggies fan here: IMO if the Baggies want long-term success, they need to quit firing managers so often. When I first started following the club, they were a mid-table Premier League team. But the owner at the time kept firing managers, and it's been downhill ever since. Hopefully, this new guy will work out....

Trouble is mate if we don't go up by next season the financial implications are massive. The way it was going with Val, we definitely would have dropped out the play offs. I really wanted it to work for him but 3 wins in 18 is just poor. Not to mention he never changes tactics and the football was Sunday league standard. He had to go unfortunately. We may well be in the league for a long time if we don't get promotion by 22/23 season. Ideal situation is for Bruce to get us promoted and keep us in the prem, he has a good record of promotion in this league and hopefully the owners will be able to sell to someone who wants to push us forward as a club. 🤞🏼🔵⚪

I definitely fully agree with ya Joey; but for Val I'm making an exception. Also, if our real issue wasn't so bad in many cases (hiring someone we shouldn't) then we wouldn't have to fire them so early. I'd say the only undeserved sack was Steve Clarke, and arguably Bilic. Big Sam wasn't sacked mind you, otherwise I totally agree. It's near impossible to have stability with 2 managers a season.

One of the nicest blokes in football - treated like crap by Mike Ashley. As a longstanding ( and long suffering )Albion fan I am delighted Steve is our manager. He is in the same mould as Roy Hodgson and Tony Pulis and will I am sure bring out the best in our players. The likes of Jake Livermore Sam Johnstone & Andy Carroll are going to be massive for our great club in the next few weeks. I wish him well, he has a good record of getting teams promoted. He has been treated very shabbily in the past. That said, we should have got Dean Smith in when he became available.... I said that also before he went to Villa. He is a good coach whose teams play very good football. He had Walsall playing very well, Brentford are where they are directly because of his spell there and he did well at Villa despite how it ended. Up The Baggies!!

Too many league 1 standard players and players who are nowhere near as good as they think they are. It's been a steep descent from only 5 years ago when we had a core of good committed club professionals, one or two star players and everyone was pulling in the same direction. Now we have none of this.

May I present a couple of facts; 90% of the squad that limped to promotion three seasons ago and then got us relegated are still here. Bruce states we are a premier league club, that may well be the case however we have a championship quality squad. Bruce also states his aim is to “hopefully” get us promoted this season,.. hmmm, you reckon Steve? Not a damn chance with this shambolic lot who are lazy and could not care less. said all the right things, got something to prove, newcastle and villa fans thought he was blues sunderland cast offs also mike Ash puppet , hang out to dry, decen t record here n there but is he just past it, not a great coach, thinker, or gets his players fit enough, that what is said about him, but his man management at times not bad and has signed some good players at newcastle and villa, to be fair improved villa till there play off final defeat then left villa with a decent attacking squad, but failed to replace defenders john Terry prime example when villa were skint till there take over in August then sacked october
