I frickin love this interviewer. This woman KNOWS her shit, did her research, and asked great open-ended questions that got Steve to reveal really cool and interesting stories and tidbits we may have not ever known otherwise with an interviewer who was just phoning it in. For example, mentioning Michael Scott loving improv and how he'd pull the gun out (an Office viewer/fan would know this), so that made it interesting since we learned that it was based on a real person. Excellent interview.

Allen Quinn I feel the same way! I find myself comparing other interviewers to her and if I watch a conversation and she's not the interviewer I just skip it

Terri Hicks I skip every other interviewer also. Janelle is just a pleasure to watch.

He is such a sweetheart - so humble and kindhearted. No wonder he's known as one of the nicest actors in Hollywood. And he's so SO talented. I've watched a couple of these interviews, and Steve's much more at ease, unpretentious and entertaining to listen to than his fellow thespians. Lots of love for Steve Carell. That's what she said.
@fabulousmyriad2679 жыл бұрын
+J Ho Well said. He stands out for his unpretentious manner among the other Hollywood 'elite'. Steve Carell is going to be a legend waaay after the other stars burn out.

When Steve talked about how he tried to make his jokes on the Daily Show at his character's expense when the people didn't deserve to be made fun of ---- this is why EVERYONE says he's the nicest guy ever

Steve Carell is so funny and sweet! He's the best! I'm a die-hard fan of The Office! I've never heard him talk about Michael Scott like that before. Yes, Michael liked having a lot of attention. He didn't have any true friends. He always considered his employees to be his friends/family. The chemistry on that show was amazing! A lot of the actors knew each other, even before they started filming The Office.

Steve Carell starting off with "introducing" his Family at 2:39, it took me straight to lyrics of 'Baby Driver' by Simon & Garfunkel..."my daddy was the family bassman, my mamma was an engineer, and I was born one dark gray morn'..." 😁✌🏻 Great interview 👌🏻.
