Carell and Gervais are comedy geniuses. Love Merchant and Davis too

Carmelo isn’t a comedy genius he is just an actor that follows the script MERCHANT and Ricky are the geniuses

Obi-wan kenobi - who the fuck is Carmelo? And if that is true then why wasn't their original version even close to as good as CARRELL's. It's all good, they're all funny fuckers to me. The only reason I didn't mention Merchant is bc I don't know much about him and he didn't say much in that clip. But I'll take your word for it...

John Faker Why surprisingly?
@mrbellamy47619 жыл бұрын
snaild0g I think it's just that it's rare to see him in a part that requires him to really act. Usually he just gets thrown in full makeup and costume running around with no dialogue that when you see him in something like this and he's got to be, you know, a human being, you think "Oh yeah, duh, he's an actor!" Most people know him as Willow and Leprechaun, which he's good in but they're not like virtuoso performances. Just campy/fantasy acting which is what those movies required. Star Wars, he obviously has no dialogue. Harry Potter, he's in every movie and his only scene with substantial dialogue is in the last one, as Griphook. And he was great, you know? He finally got an opportunity to prove why he'd been there all along. But it just shows that even with a guaranteed role in every movie in the biggest franchise in the world, even with a standalone name card in the end credits, he still had to wait 10 years for a good scene. And he was still in full makeup. It's pretty much just him and Peter Dinklage, who got super lucky with a great part in The Station Agent and of course he had the chops to pull it off and get noticed with it. Now he's hit the mother lode with GOT. It may still be fantasy, but no makeup, great dialogue, a real character with dramatic weight....I mean, how many other really great roles are there for people that size?
