Obviously replacing a Scotland manager of the calibre of McLeish, a man with a host of managerial achievements, is a huge job. Naturally, It makes perfect sense to choose someone who has literally won nothing as a manager, not even a runner up. Winning half your games as Killie manager and guiding them to 3rd is hardly what the national team needs.

A cup that nobody cares about in England hence the reason they all put out their second teams.. Clarke has managed under some of the top managers in the world, also has vast experience of the EPL (where most of our players play). Yes he took a team to finish 3rd... Kilmarnock has one of the smallest budgets in the SPL, We are not talking about hibs, hearts or Aberdeen here.. Also the team was full of the same players who had no belief in themselves and were slugging it out in relegation dog fights year after year. Look mate I'm not saying Clarke is Jesus because I'm a killie fan and I've got my tinted specs on.. His record speaks for itself. That's why he's (MANAGER OF THE YEAR).
