I'd really like to see Conan slumming it on some of our UK panel shows: Cats Does Countdown, Would I Lie To You, QI...he'd be great, and more people in Britain need to know about him.

Why not? He's done all kinds of world tours for the show before. A week across the pond doing some shows and getting good clips for his own makes good sense.

@rxp56 Of course he doesn't "need it". He doesn't "need" to do anything anymore. He could retire and spend the rest of his life smashing Faberge eggs with a walnut hammer and he still wouldn't run out of money. That's not really the point.

Corporations have been taxed 21% on all profits since 2018... who are all these people that aren't paying taxes somehow?
@AD-kv9kj
@AD-kv9kj 4 жыл бұрын
@@blahblahs1234567 Amazon, Google, Starbucks, various phone companies etc etc famously use various loopholes in tax laws around the world to get out of paying what would otherwise be often tens of billions of dollars every year in taxes back into many countries' economies. Our governments are ignoring these loopholes for a very good reason, those at the top make millions in bribes from these massive global corporate giants. The percentage corporation tax figure you quoted is only what they should pay. Legally they get around paying most of that via these loopholes. They shouldn't, it should be highly illegal, but governments take no action on it because they make huge, corrupt personal profits from it all (most of which gets put into accounts in tax haven countries like Monaco or the Cayman Islands also). Anytime any politician tries or wants to close these tax loopholes and make multi-billion dollar corporate giants pay their taxes properly they always get destroyed by those in power and by the media, usually labelled communists and terrorist sympathizers etc. That's not to say all of those politicians are necessarily otherwise great either, but there is this strong trend happening.
