Steve Cooney & Dowina Hybrid guitar.

Steve Cooney demonstrates the qualities of his custom made nylon string guitar - one of the newly designed Hybrid models made by Dowina Guitars in Slovakia and aquired through Moloney Music in Galway,Ireland.
The guitar is made with Solid Dolomite spruce top and Granadillo back and sides.

Great video thanks very much. I was asking Richard at Richards guitars here in England if Dowina made a nylon string guitar. He's their official stockist over here. They are fabulous instruments and I agree with other commentators about the quality of them and price over the more expensive ones from 'big name' manufacturers. I really want one now!!! David 😎🎶🎸

Great vid. I have the Rustica GAC and the Chardonnay GAC DS here at the moment with a Cabernet D on it's way. Dowina are like this hidden gem of European guitar makers. I have played so many guitars over the past 30 years or so and I can't remember any of them impressing me as much as Dowina. The quality, finish and attention to detail is second to none. I would take a Dowina over a Taylor any day. They remind me a lot of Avalon Ard Ri range, they really are that good :)

I'm currently looking at Dowina and Auden, Dowina were recommended, you mentioned the Guitar not having been set up , just wondered who does that, the Shop or elsewhere, I was only thinking of extra expenses ? The Guitar sounds great though

Any string will sustain longer if you use vibrato or tremolo.

This looks like a Grand Auditorum shape, and they only seem to offer a hybrid in their top-end range, correct?
