He’s 100% right, I would’ve taken 20th this season, let’s not forget we have always been the underdogs and we were put at the bottom of the table by the bookies before the start. Unreal season, although shit result today!

Riding on the crest of Reid’s unexpected prolific season for most of the campaign. When his goals dried up, so did Stevenage. A big recruitment job required in the summer to offer some alternatives to the playing style because this team, and these tactics, have been found out. An interesting summer awaits.

The problem is we already have Stockport and Wrexham coming up - Maybe McDons and Mansfield too - probably a couple of big clubs coming down Birmingham, Sheffield Wednesday, Stoke? - plus 5 of the top 8 staying and then the likes of Charlton, Exeter, Wigan, Reading, Port Vale all recovering means top half might be a dream next season - This season was the chance
