Talent that could sell out an arena playing on the beach. Humble legend.

Bunch of beachgoers sitting around like lumps, I'd be going nuts to see the great SF playing in such a setting.

I love this guy. So much heart, so much soul, so much talent, and I never heard him till 2 weeks ago. Romeo's song will be timeless.

I might be wrong....but Steve has been under estimated since I heard his 1st recording (45) with a band called Cotton Rock and a little tune called Jennie and the Bare Back Puzzle???? am I remembering it all wrong? Loved to see him play at the Meridian Theater and a little place called Just Friends. Also saw him in Germany when I was stationed there and then caught his show in Dallas Texas at Poor Davids pup.... He deserves more recognition, his talent is second to none....his music has been recorded by many...... I hate it...when people say they have never heard of him..... Romeo's Tune is just a sample of his genius.

I saw him in Stockholm in the spring 2012 and it was dfinitely a magic evening! Now he´s returning to Sweden in April 2014 and I will go there with the whole Family again! He´s the best, been admiring him ever since his debut in 78, and he´s even better today!!!

Been following Steve since 1979 , I admire the fact that he has battled through personal and business shit to punch out a life in what he obviously loves to do in life : write , play and perform the music he loves . Love the man .

It's amazing how far one song can take someone. I'll bet Steve Forbert is making a pretty good living from the royalties from this song and performing live over all these years.

I found a Steve Forbert "Alive on Arrival" album in the cutouts, on the floor, of my favorite used album store in Buffalo in around 78 or so. I learned every song. I used to live by the words "Here's to money in my hand - and where it went". He was my own personal Dylan. I am such a fan.
