Jesus! Everything about him is so superb. Wish KZbin would allow us to give as many Likes as we want.

Timeless! Goodman wrote and performed so many great songs. Blessed that I saw him live maybe a dozen times and had the chance to speak with him a few times.

A dozen times? Wow- I was blessed to experience him live 2-3 times. He charged the atmosphere of even a large venue with an indescribable energy ! His voice and acoustic guitar magic hands- wow

Goodman's original concept was advisory, seemingly from some personal experience. In the original recording, he sings "If you're lookin' for trouble, trouble will find you" only once, at the beginning of the song. All other instances he sings "Don't go lookin' for trouble, trouble will find you." One of his all time great songs. Right up there with City of New Orleans.
