I have listened to part 1 and 2 Steve Gregg and have thoroughly been enlightened on many things but I must say this the brother asking the questions and listening to you Steve, has the look on his face like a person eating a wonderful plate of Spiritual food and eating all of it and wanting more, thank you Steve for this. Do you have a teaching on the two witnesses this has always puzzled me! [I am 83 and not as sharp as i used to be]

Thanks for your kind words toward Steve, Gerald. I can't speak for Steve, but knowing him and knowing what I know about his theology, I think he would agree with this teaching on the two witnesses. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKK5lHunmsR3rKMsi=yejyfin49z8cL_sR God bless you, brother.

The issue leading to Jerusalem's second destruction in 70 AD, is that they called for the death of the only man who had walked a sinless life on Earth....Their own Messiah.

The song of Moses predicted the 70 ad exile and a return after it. Deut 32

Where exactly did it do that?

@thatyoumayknowhim Deuteronomy 32:18-20 CEV [18] You turned away from God, your Creator; you forgot the Mighty Rock, the source of your life. You were the Lord's children, but you made him angry. Then he rejected you and said, “You are unfaithful and can't be trusted. So I won't answer your prayers Then Deuteronomy 32:36 [36] When only a few of the Lord's people remain, when their strength is gone, and some of them are slaves, the Lord will feel sorry for them and give them justice. This injunction is stronger than the exile of Babylon. Did God not answer them while they were in exile? They still had prophets while they were in exile. Jesus identifying as the Rock just makes this a stronger connection.

I currently lean toward the view of an Eclecticist ie. that there is merit in all 4 views. But the flaws in Futurist Dispensationalism stick out like a sore thumb for the most part. And I, like Blake and Steve and for that matter 85% of the Church, used to believe that position.
