Hey Steve, it's Marty Rudman, I stumbled onto this while looking for 70's AM off-air recordings - looking for a little nostalgia, I got more than I bargained for. Fun to see you it brings back good memories - This is improbable, but my kids are great friends with Andy's kids although I haven't seen Andy for maybe 30+ years? I have told the cautionary tale of a confident young man who walks (maybe strode) into a meeting prepared to negotiate a raise and gets fired, I am sure your misfortune saved me a pile of money over the years… hope you are well old friend.

Steve, you sounded good on CFTR. I see you had a board operator. Was CFTR 50,000 watts? I played in radio for about 10 years about this same time. It sure was fun. Thanks for sharing this classic video aircheck with us.

This brings back great memories. Listened to you while I was living in Northern Québec as a teen and I was able to get this station during the winter evenings. Loved listening to you in Ottawa when Bob FM was on the air. Thanks for sharing this video... :)
