Great version, really. The studio version with the orchestra mixed with the mellotron is great too. In both cases, John Wetton sings so well.... Marvelous, better than the original version, I'd say. And I very rarely say such a thing as I do love the original Genesis from the early seventies ! And better than the recent versions featuring Nad Sylvan whose voice is really a caricature of Gabriel's high pitched vocals of the early days...

Can't say I care much for this performance. As great as Chester Thompson is as a drummer, Phill Collins fucking KILLED it in the original recording! I also love John Wetton, but this is not the right vehicle for him. What does stand-out is the incredibly poignant Mellotron introduction Tony Banks created! It's one of the most Iconic Prog-Keyboard intros EVER!
