Thanks for the upload. Steve Hackett is amazing and hats off to him for keeping the Genesis torch burning. I've seen him three times over the last few years. Never disappointed and always a great (cinema) show. Hope to see him and his amazing band again one day soon. I knew Ken Wilson back in the 1980s who is Ray's uncle. That was in Hayes, West London. Ken was a great guitaris, vocalist and the family resemblance is uncanny! Keep on rocking Mr Hackett!

I remember Ray saying his uncle was in a band who had a bit of success. Do you know the name of the band?

Now, not saying the guy isn't a great guitarist, but saw Genesis in 82 & other times since, with always a sense of regret.... Daryl Sturmer plays all the right notes in the right order...... but those old Genesis numbers never have the same magic & soul as when Steve plays them.

@@oysterman555 do you know the name of the uncharacteristically upbeat song sung by Nad with the lyric "I am here ... I am now ... and I like it, like it"?

I was there it was a great show but this song was better on the Seconds Out tour with Nad on vocals. Steve's playing is sublime.
@TheTim59Ай бұрын
me and she who must be obeyed were there too the night before last. Agree with your comment as we also saw Nad on the Seconds Out tour in Croydon. I also remember the original Genesis Seconds Out London gig in '77) A bit disappointed with the sound engineering at the RAH, Nad got swapped out a bit making it difficult to hear his vocals clearly

Ray should have been given more time in Genesis, they missed a trick with this guy. Good rendition. Who's the lady?

Hate to be a party pooper but I much prefer Nad singing this tune, Ray is a bit too rough and a touch too deep… the magic version was Seconds Out..
