Steve welcomed Ramone Dickerson and Corey Simmons from OWN’s "2 Fat 2 Fly." Ramone and Cory came up with a genius idea by creating the stuffed chicken wing and now have a reality series on OWN, which follows their food truck business. They came to Steve, looking for some advice from his "Act Like A Success" initiative, on how to take their business to the next level.

I had this for dinner tonight.... Ive been a customer for years and I'm glad they are getting some recognition for their awesome food! I consider myself lucky i am local and able to get these amazing wings. Everything they make is delicious and has something special about it... the fries are just as amazing as the wings! 3:19 it’s like he was transported back into time eating his grandmother’s, momma, and Auntie’s cooking. There was like a slight twinkle in his eye too. I don’t think some people quite understand how important food is; it’s literally some of our history and culture. No matter who you are or where you come from and hopefully these recipes passed down from generation to generation stay passed down. Nothing wrong with Googling recipes and what not but there is NOTHING like your family history also belonging in a self made cookbook of some sort; whether it’s many recipes or just one.

I'm from Swansea SC just south of Columbia and have had their wings Steve's reactions were accurate those wings are Fantastic with a capital F. Mac and Cheese so good and the jambalaya is to die for. Glad these guys are getting some love and pray by the grace of God they make it as far as they hope they will, to the top. If they ever come to your town and you can look them up on the web I definitely encourage you to give them a shot. They will be the WOW factor at your tailgate party, family cookout, or whatever.

Having teachers in the house just hit differently. My mom taught right out of college. 66-85. Then she took a short break as head logistics manager in international freight forwarding. The went back to teaching school from 2006-2013 and retired. She taught me and my brother so much and prepared us for school. Then when I had my son, she taught him how to read. He loves reading, he’s on a 9th grade level and a 2nd grader. Positive influences in a child’s life, help them in so many ways.
