A wonderful hippy time carried over from the sixties wonderfully carried on by a wonderful couple into the mid seventies and well beyond . Many a young man wanted to be an effortlessly good guitarist like Steve and have their knobs twiddled by the lovely Miquette. 😉 I saw the Steve Hillage Band at the Liverpool empire, Steves covers of 'its all too much' and 'hurdy gurdy man' are without peer, he always brought a top drawer band with him and those covers complimented his set wonderfully and, Trevor Rabin and his band no less, opened for him . What a set, what an evening !!!! the stuff of dreams. something I will never, ever forget.

J ai vue steve hillage au parc des expositions à Rouen et avant le concert j ai été voir stephane et Marie Christine et j avais appris que Steve hillage aller faire un concert à Rouen stephane m a conduit en voiture au concert mais je n avais pas d argent arriver au concert j ai dit à mon grand frère stephane je n ai pas d argent je lui ai demander si il pouvait me puer ma place pur aller voir le concert il m a dit il avait asser d argent mais il m a dit débrouille toi et la j ai été déçu de mon frère il m a dit qu'il n avait pas d argent et que c était faux donc il n a pas voulue me payer la place du concert alors j ai fait la manche pour 40 francs et j ai quand même pu aller voir le concert de Steve hillage mais ça m a écoeurer de savoir que je lui annonce une bonne nouvelle et j ai compris il en avait rien à faire de moi j était triste et la ca m a dégoûter de sa part pour 40 francs il n a pas voulue me payer la place du concert mais j ai quand même pu aller voir le concert de Steve hillage et j était content il a jouer le concert de l album open j était heureux D avoir vue le concert de Steve hillage mais ma famille en a rien à faire de moi alors j ai démissionner de la famille grolaud et auguin c est mieux comme ca maltraitances de la part de mes parents j ai fait la route en stop en1978 et j ai eu ma liberté de partir seul sans eux il m aura fallut du temps pour comprendre c est mieux ainsi voilà quoi cette famille jamais plus ils me reverrons voilà c est fini pour toujour je continu la route et c est mieux ainsi merci mon dieu jesus christ je crois amen aleluia jean michel
