Animals talk,we just have to pay attention. I used to have a farm but due to health I live in town and run a feral cat rescue in my house. People are always surprised that the cats listen and respond. They don't understand that I can read the cats language.

@@robinglauser5626 I do the same thing, and yes they understand exactly what you are saying to them, and I read cats very good too. I have been doing cat rescues for almost 30 years back home in Sweden, and my work started up here in USA, (Nashville TN, Then Clarksville) 8 years ago, and I just love to work with those fur babies. I have 6 right now Im feeding and try work with. 4 strays and 2 ferrels. The 2 ferals is one old cat I named Smokey and his daughter baby 7 months old Creamer. Trying to get her tamed (going slowly forward, she is darn cute and smart) and hopefully in a few months now she be ready for rehoming. So far I rescued 7 this summer and 5 of them are in new homes.

@@MaiBLarsen I have over twenty now. I only take unhomed cats and kittens off the street. Most you can't handle when they first arrive. I have done over three hundred since 2019. When I lived in the country I did large and small animal rescue. People used to say that I worked magic with the animals, but it is just learning to understand and speak their language. So happy that you are doing rescue. If everyone would rescue one animal then they would all have a home. I live in Monticello, Arkansas so not to far from you. You should check out Horse Plus Humane Society in Hole in the Wall, Tennessee.

And this is why livestock should be halter trained. I'm not trying to be cruel, but I have had to evacuate too many animals during fires and it's so important for people to train their animals to halter, lead and load.

Aloha, nice try Daniel with Steve on the rope behind the rump trick. lol. Now do that with the babies everyday like the show hefiers, repetion is key. Before you know it they'll be halter and lead trained. The younger you start any babies, the better and quicker desentitized of the process they will be.

Don't stop if they rear or buck. Babies gonna think that's what they have to do to relieve pressure. Be consistent that way they learn the only way to get away from pressure is to walk and follow the handler. Soon be leading on slack rope
