A few years back I joked that Our "Family Coat of Arms" was a Straight jacket ( was working at a Costume Hire place at the time and we had a couple for hire )..thanks for this post , so good and made me chuckle a couple of times which is just what the "Dr" ordered x from New Zealand x ps We watched a doco on Netflix called STUTZ , He is a Wise Gentleman like You Steve , and shared great ideas on how to Help People's Mental Health , I may just watch it again as I found it shifted My thinking , like this post has xThank You both x

I always recall that Saturn is a teacher, as well as a restricter.One has to slow down in order to learn,and with Pisces,more 'swimming around" can be used to look around at the other possibilities. Anger ( also 'sad', 'disappointed') can be described as 'I don't get my way,or things didn't turn out the way I thought it wouldetc.) I am a PhD Clinical Psychologist, who has also done charts, before computer programmes, and found it a wonderful 3rd party, to point out stuff people wouldn't otherwise face.

Interesting discussions. For me my faith in a higher power, call it whatever you want, has grown by leaps and bounds. I am not getting disenchanted, rather I am seeing it as the inevitability of reaction to our actions. Anyway, what do I know….just an 80+ year old anxiously waiting joyfully for my next chapter.

In the last few days had a huge realization today - I've been stuck in negative expectation for so long I didn't even realize it. So I've been using "expect the best" as a mantra all day and I can just feel all the pathways shifting, turning, healing. I lived the large majority of life basically expecting the best and that's what I usually got. The last 10-12 yrs have been very different. But seems a huge opening has happened and I'm taking it forward. No doubt!

I have natal Mars Saturn conjunct exact 25° Leo 12th house and it has been the hardest placement of my life. I have always said I have felt like I have this intense feeling of wearing a straitjacket but have a lot to say but have been blocked from saying it, until the alienation of my young children in 2021. It unleashed the straitjacket. I learned how to meditate and it changed the course of my life. I agree with the energy also. I always feel tired but have an intense amount of energy. Love when you two team up and have the conversations. They are some of my favorite.

I Love listening to you both as you share perspectives: Sue; I too have Mars in Pisces, 1st house…and you’re right, getting that energy moving is a must. I began Dancing classes at age 7, to 19, which brought out my creativity, first in the performing arts, and finally in design, through my own business. My natal Mars Trine Saturn, I feel helps fuel Mars in Pisces. I’m an Aries sun, so I’ve never been short on energy, however, directing that energy through the creative arts has been a passion and perfect match for me. Steve; Being able to laugh at oneself is one of the many positive gifts of a Sagittarius Moon , as you’ve mentioned you have…as do I, and I always laugh best and deepest, at those moments of self recognition. Thank you very much for this! I have a very dear friend who fits the tragic example of what you describe. Recently learned he has terminal metastatic cancer. He's always been extremely fit and strong, saved others' lives, considered heroic by many, never quits. Now he's extremely weak, in great pain, can't eat. Always been quick to blame others and rage (would love to see his chart!). Starting 1st chemo next week but already so depressed he wants to give up now. Fights with everyone trying to encourage him. You sure nailed this. I'm encouraged that you say 3 weeks will be better. Heartbreaking to witness suffering among our loved ones and the world. Thanks for all you do!. Update: my friend passed away peacefully but in a complicated manner, leaving great suffering and hardship for his family.

I've felt really good/great, spiritually enlightened 3 to 5 weeks ago. then I've started to feel increasingly confused and now even depressed since the Solar Eclipse. It was sextiling my ascendant to the minute (one minute apart). I've been feeling in a crisis and gloomy out of the blue. I'm a Gemini rising and can't wait until the retrograde is over! Emotions can change so quickly. A month ago I had Jupiter (in my 12th house) transiting trine Jupiter and conjunct my Sun and I felt so optimisitic and uplifted by spiritual insights. I totally crushed and said this is the worst Mercury retrograde of my life! Massive Chiron energy and the Saturn Mars energy. Just feel lost. I wish me and your friend to find the high vibe fighting spirit again.
