@sneakyserpent955 ай бұрын
It's not that we don't matter, it's that those states have the highest possibility to go to either candidate. Let's be real here, California, Oregon, Washington state, New York, etc are all safe blue states that dems have won by a good amount, outside the margin of the error. Texas, Florida, South Carolina, the Dakotas, Ohio etc same thing safe red states that Reps won outside the margin of error. Those six states are all within 3 points, and it changes over time, some states start to shift to the other side and we begin to have new battleground states, and next thing you know they'll be talking about Kentucky, Montana, Colorado, and New Mexico as New battleground states, it just happens.

This election is simply about Pennsylvania. Let's assume Kamala takes Wisconsin and Michigan, she'll still need Pennyslvania to win. If she has WI and MI and Nevada and Arizona, she's still at 268. If she loses NV and AR but win WI MI and Georgia, still at 267. Bottom line, 6 battleground states. NC is likely republican and not a battleground in this cycle I don't believe. Everything hangs on Pennsylvania. Kamala made a huge mistake not taking Shapiro as VP.
@sneakyserpent955 ай бұрын
Disagree, she doesn't just need Pennsylvania, she needs Wisconsin and Michigan too. Shapiro would've likely secured Pennsylvania, but then what about the other states? Most voters in th those states have said they wouldn't vote for her if Shapiro was her VP pick, because of Gaza and Palestine, and his stance on it. Walz was the better choice to get Wisconsin and Michigan higher numbers since he relates to those the most, and she and him can campaign in Pennsylvania to sway the voters on their own and believe in their campaign. Currently, Pennsylvania is leaning blue, so it's even likely she will win that state without Shapiro.
