Running from 1993-2009, Late Night with Conan O’Brien is one of the most beloved late night shows in television history. Known for its absurdist humor, hilarious celebrity interviews and featuring the best stand-up comedians and musical acts of the 90’s and early 2000s. Hosted by Conan O’Brien alongside sidekick Andy Richter and house band Max Weinberg and the Max Weinberg 7, Late Night with Conan O’Brien featured unforgettable segments like “If They Mated,” “In the Year 2000,” “Desk Driving” and made a breakout star of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.

I'm here to talk about my BOOK. Man Steve Martin will never lose it. He has looked the same his whole life, doesn't rely on physical comedy or current events, the only way he would not be funny is when his brain goes. It is just the manner he presents himself

I don’t know if you’re young, but part of what made Dave amazing was that he was the first. No one had done what he did with late night before. So even though I prefer Conan, Dave is still one of the greats. Kind of like how Animal House isn’t that funny now. Modern comedies have way more laughs, better acting, better story. But it started the genre.

Conan did more sketch comedy, where Dave did observational humor. Also people love it when Conan pokes fun out himself. He has given those looks to the camera like he has impotence so many times.

@@lqprimetime4169 I disagree. It's not observational humor it's the sketches/segments Letterman brought in. He's the guy that changed the format of talk shows with skits & segments. That's why he's got respect in show biz. Imo that's an achievement of producer Letterman not a comic Letterman. He's a good conversationalist but he's overhyped & that artificial hype contributed largely to his fame. Greatest producer maybe but not average comedy wise.
