And you hit the nail on the head, I think it's very safe. He will help them beat the teams they are supposed to beat but I don't see him raising their level against some of the teams that would be tough for them

I have questions. What is the end game for Jamaica’s football? What are the goals set for accomplishment that would allow us (the JFF and Jamaica) to feel a sense of fulfillment? Is it World Cup qualification, second round in the World Cup, Gold Cup qualification, semi-final of the Gold Cup, winning the Gold Cup, or just playing attractive football and scoring some goals? Have those questions answered and then it may make sense to some of us as to why we keep finding and spending large sums of money hiring washed-up foreign coaches who do not achieve more than the home-grown coaches who are paid less and are seen in a less favorable light.

Heya Michael, Another great video 📹, mate. If I were the Jamaicans 🇯🇲, I'd be feeling somewhat apprehensive as you don't know how things are going to go while he's the Manager of their national team. Steve McClaren doesn't have the greatest track record so right now I'm not placing much hope on him qualifying Jamaica to the World Cup in 2026. It'll be interesting how they perform in the CONCACAF Nations League starting in September. Their group won't be easy either with the likes of Cuba 🇨🇺, Honduras 🇭🇳, Nicaragua 🇳🇮 and Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹. I hope he proves all of us wrong.
