The only band that has consistently lifted me since childhood. Love his music, love his poetry, love his guitar. Love the man. Period.

Oh what a great tune.....my oh my how music has deteriorated after the turn of the century, nothing today comes close to music of the 70's, 80's and 90's.

I have been so depressed and mentally ill lately that this concert has just instantly turned my frown upside down. This is just some of the most spot on precise rock and roll ever made.

Love Steve Miller, i'm 20. Got to see 'em in Columbus. Some older folks in front of us were partying harder than anyone else there. Got a couple tokes from one of them. I get the feeling that my generation will never have as good a time as our parents did. They really just don't make feel-good music like this anymore. The radio is dominated with crap and the bands that are deserving of high titles in the music world are often thrown on the backburner.

so good to see a music legend still enjoying himself. Steve looks to have kept himself in great shape & it's great to see a performer from that era who doesn't seem to have succumbed to the lifestyle...keep on rockin' me baby.

Gotta give some love to Paul Pena for writing this, and to SM for giving Paul full credit and royalties. Two of the nicest guys in the business. If you want to check out Paul Pena's, search from "Paul Pena - Jet Airliner" here on KZbin. It's a badass version as well. Steve Miller did this cover justice

I'm old enough to remember seeing Aer Lingus 707s at Shannon airport ! Yep I've been to New England too, but not during a heatwave ! Must be one of the best songs about planes I know. CCR mentions the 737 in 'Travelin' Band' and of course there's 747s mentioned in 'Amelia' by Joni Mitchell. I could go on... This is my favorite song by far, in this regard though. Wonder where you would get footage of an Aer Lingus 707

*_Simply Awesome! From an area when music was music... I feel sorry for the current generation who have no idea what they have missed... I have to ask though! ...Was it the massive drug abuse which kicked in from the mid-seventies that addled the brains of subsequent generations of youth, or was it the pirating of music in the eighties that KILLED off the music industry as we knew it? ...Whatever it was, music as an art form is dead, may It Rest In Peace._*
