There's a huge number of talented drummers out there. All of them may have to offer something special. I'm a huge fan of Ginger Baker's stile of drumming. He is living the art of leaving gaps in his performance. He's able to give the listener some space to breeze. That might be the reason why so many people said thatvthey could listen to Ginger for hours. He simply does not start to get boring. This guy has comparable qualities. In addition to fantasy, imagination and a lot of groove he offers a visible representation of all this qualities through his stunning and unique performance. Thank you!

Actually I went to college for music and again for jazz performance - although it may be a fun circus act to watch - the actual musicality if this guys playing is where a serious student should after maybe 6 months after picking the sticks if that-once again I am a college educated drummer and started my first college courses at 8 years old I'm now 41 and still study -originally started playing when I was 3 - for you to say no one has any talent is ridiculous -Do you play anything or just talk-if anyone is critical of his playing it's because this is a clinic/drum fest environment-these things aren't free and are usually attended by serious musicians and honestly this dude may be a great "entertainer" but not much if a drummer - I would be pissed if I paid money to learn and see good and creative technique to watch some dude act like an idiot playing nothing but some eighth note bullshit patterns-i have had students as young as three and four years old that could play circles around what is being displayed here- music is an ART&so is the circus-this is a "visual entertainer" nothing more

@@matthewhill9317 Exactly right, you can clearly hear him fall off tempo and miss timing patterns. It's like all drummers say, (that can play and twirl little sticks at the same time) "never sacrifice your playing by doing tricks". I guess everyone wants to be a showmanship drummer like Thomas Lang, Tommy Aldridge, Mike Portnoy, so on, and so on, they're "a dime a dozen". I gotta admit though, it is a good show IF DONE RIGHT. Although would be tiring, after watching the same show multiple times. Guaranteed, he would never make the studios playing like that.

This guy can do all of that flailing around and still maintain control of how loud he gets. Not to mention he has really good stick control. Playing like that is really difficult and he does it just for the fun. Also a good musician does what the music requires. That doesn't always mean playing wild and crazy to amp the song up.
