Dog got it right, I’m no pro anything I just saved from my early 20’s, invested, bought rental properties and held them long enough to be able retire at 53 years young. Now I own a ranch and spend 6 months on the road every year riding the best mtn bike trails in the US, it all starts with saving and investing.

Good content lads. Whenever I see a young person with a flash car I always think it's probably on finance or lease or whatever. So many people got designer gear and flash car but totally skint. You're also right that the Southeast is a bubble as well. Lots of London money and inherented wealth and trying to keep up with the Jones's in Surrey is a silly game to play

A majority of people have got things on the monthly, which is fine - until the interest rate goes up and you don't have enough money to pay for them any longer, but you're tied in to the contracts. I think about 1/3rd the working population are in that position now.

Mad respect for Brendan, but the thing about buying renthal property makes me so angry and frustrated. Rich people ( or in this case people that are about to get rich) buy property just to rent them to people that can't afford to buy an house, they are getting richer thanks to the poor people money, who are essentially just wasting money. If you're rich, buy a massive villa, buy multiple holiday houses but stop exploiting who can't and will never be able to afford an house
