Absolutely true! and living legend. the orchestral composers of our times are a little bit hidden under the great carpet of the mainstream. But I am sure future generations will come up with them again. Bach was also nearly forgotten for a long time and even barely noticed during this living times.

Lovely performance of a really good recent piece by one of the giants of contemporary composition. This video needs more hits! The playing is really sensitive, and the strings' and winds' sparing (and always tasteful) use of vibrato is appreciated.

For those who enjoy this piece, I recommend "Outcome Inevitable" by Robert Ashley, as performed by Relâche, which is similar but even more interesting in some ways.

Notice how the pianist hammers the staccato with clenched hands.

I wonder what Bach what have said to this. Because it sounds like a bachian Ensemble very slightly mixed with modern pop elements

do I hear a marimbaphone, along with the piano, or does my brain gets tricked? where is it?
