Magic. Ten minimalizm się nie nudzi. Odnoszę wrażenie, że to taki Bach, Mozart nowoczesności. Bez porównania lepszy od later-'easy' Pendereckiego, Góreckiego, Kilara. To jest jak muzyczna ceremonia, epopeja, psychodrama. Coś modern-sakralnego, tak to odczułem.

@@vrai3078 Penderecki broke up sometime after two symphonies, a concerto grosso and a sextet. His further work is nothing but s_it and a great s_it.

@@vrai3078 No, my ears are better than my eyesight, and I've been listening to contemporary music for a quarter of a century. I have heard not thousands, but tens of thousands of pieces of new music, all classical, not to mention other styles. Early Penderecki is very good as a modernist. Later is hopeless as a traditionalist. The average composer of Czech and Latvian music created better simple pieces than the old, traditional Penderecki. The late Penderecki should be a classic example of kitsch, anti-art and musical prefabrications or stupid, shallow manners. There is a metaphor - a snake eating its own tail = Penderecki. His symphonies 3-5 are poor reminiscences of his 2nd symphonies - only a level lower. You have major gaps in your listening skills, expand your horizons.

@@drapik9144 what exactly is the problem with his other pieces like Polymorphia and De Natura Sonorus? Are they too dissonant, too unstructured, too non-tonal for you to appreciate? I don't understand why you seemingly have such a hate for his later work.

@@vrai3078 After all, I wrote that I like 'early' Penderecki... I don't like 'Later' Penderecki - after 2000.year. Polymorpha - early Pend. very good piece. , but let me remind you - the main theme was about Reich's minimalism and simplicity. Penerecki's late works referring to simplicity are of very low value.
