I empathize with him. But he really shouldn't try to be in his kid's life right now. That's just selfish. No sane mother would want her 11 year old daughter around that mess.

I know, listening to him talk about his parents “kidnapping” his daughter is the addiction talking. He doesn’t realize what is truly best for his daughter. I also understand why his parents are also hesitant towards his wife getting custody, because early recovery is shaky, it can get rough and flip but congrats to her for getting her life together for the child’s sake. I pray this man also gets help.

At the beginning...he blames everyone else...until he takes responsibility for himself..he isnt ready to get clean...😢.😢😢😢drugs arnt what they use to be...they are poison...metahdone is free..it make him stop craving drugs and would take care of his pain

methadone isn't free lol unless you have good insurance which most of us addicts do not have smh it sucks, to go to a methadone clinic I have to have $20 a day plus the Uber fare to get dropped there then picked up hours later because it takes forever there and if you miss two weeks you have to start all over again which is a bitch. wish it was easier

@shelby8364 it is free for low income in maryland and wv...I have to pay cash....I've earned a month of take homes..I have a car..a home...a good paying job....I've always been a functioning addict...I'm almost 60...I never shot drugs. Wasn't ever addicted to anything until I was 38 n that was oxie...the devip

Yeah I feel for these people. But when you asked him what his dream life would be. He mentioned he would like to have a big house , cars, not have to worry about anything. Still smoke weed, etc etc. But never mentioned maybe working for all that. Or maybe dreaming of a nice job to pay for all that. These people never seem interested in working for anything. Just want free housing, free needles, free food at soup lines and wherever. Ask not what your country can go for you……………..
