Steve i met you about a 100 years ago when we was i Gainesville racing for ProStar and we talked and again in Columbus, you are the most straight up guy in the sport, as far as the media, for being a retired driver Tony should stay home and watch the races from his couch, and Jack, don't get me started on him he just wants to get all of his teeth and his large mouth on tv. I guess he should stay hanging with Mcbride. But as far as these videos you put out i highly enjoy them and you go to the point and you know how to explain things. Myself and my late wife have been Steve Johnson fans for along long time, and i will stay your fan for as long as you are out there racing. So thanks for the video's and good luck with that new fuel with the carb set up and stay safe.

I've seen NHRA show how biased they can be. I've seen Tony Pedregon open his mouth and say untrue crap about other teams. I'm glad to hear both sides of the story. I never trusted much what Matt Smith says anyway. He seems like kind of a whiner.

Can anyone tell me where would the muzzy ZX14 Prostock fit in under the current rules? I remember his efforts to get that platform approved and finally giving up. Anyone remember what exactly killed it?

Tony is a far cry from Cruz or Frankie.... His words are pretty meaningless if you know his demeanor. Good job steve!

Good luck in your racing. You are one of the veterans in the mc class and I feel as such you have seen it all. One thing people have to realize is that the more the competitors (and brands) the better the competition. A good example is the 2 brand Prostock car class. It is almost guaranteed a Chevy is going to win. It would be good to see Honda, Kawasaki, and other brands, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Steve you’re awesome, always been an inspiration to many who watch you persevere in a very difficult sport. It’s a shame that NHRA announcers lack situational awareness and the damage they can cause. Keep going we’re rooting you on!

Great job Steve. Jack comes from the WWE background. What would expect from a McMahon trained fool. It's sad that both Smith would say how sad the Pro Stock Bikes are not fair. I've been following the Pro Stock bikes since the were an exhibition in Pomona. V& H have a very good company the aftermarket for Japanese and American made motorcycles. They have the finances yo for R&D. I raced at one point of my life and had to depend on others to build my motors. I won races, and even beat those that build my motor. Jack the Joke is just looking for more followers.

Pedregon gives the rest of the family a bad image as for having not much of a brain. You have done more with less than any professional racer I know, and I was a part of the tour for quite a while and saw that in person. Anyone who follows this sport closely knows you didn't need to respond; it's a shame that newer fans (and NHRA employees!) made it necessary.

Why would Steve give a shit what anybody says is beyond me , get on the bike and race don't be giving all that bla bla bla .
@truthboomertruthbomber51259 ай бұрын
Because the mouthpieces of the series can torpedo a racer. TP has always ran off at the mouth since his very first broadcast. The announcers should always be completely neutral. They need to promote every team. . I remember back when the camera people would do everything they could to not show the racer’s hat if it had some business name and the announcers would never mention the sponsor of a car. Eventually the sanctioning body figured out that they need to promote every rider, every team, every sponsor and wrote the broadcast contracts to stipulate this reality ..
@johnpassamonte99889 ай бұрын
Steve you are one of the best in NHRA PSM and Tony Pedregon is the worst announcer ever. He makes so many mistakes it's ridiculous he needs to go. Bring in someone with some intelligence and knowledge like Mike Dunn.
@badass6.0powerstroke108 ай бұрын
Exactly, i been saying that for couple years now, Please Mike Dunn come back !!! I don't know if he just quit, didn't wanna do it anymore or what, But he was one of the best Drag Race announcers ever ! I could never stand Tony Pedregon since the first time i seen him announcing, and jeeze, i don't know how many more times i can stand him bringing up the Nitromethane Fuel Volume issue, that's all he talks about when he starts going on about the Top Fuel Cars, it's always Fuel Volume this, Fuel Volume that, i can't take it anymore. Mike Dunn please come back !!!

That's right Steve, Sack the SH@tslingers and call em out!!. And for ALL the SH@Tslingers, Steve is getting press for you guys,,like it or not, and you better like it!!!!!. What was it that Dale Earnhardt always said "Doesn't matter if they are Booing or Cheering,, So Long as they are making Noise!!' NOISE sells!!. I watched your State Of The Union. Thanks Steve J Racing. Subscribed, and made the shout out to buddy's to do the same. Your the ONLY one making sense out of all this, because the rest are scared to talk about it. Electric Pro Stock Bikes for Everyone!!. Battery Bikes!!. Only way to have parity,,or is it??. Hmm.

if matt wants the so called "advantage" how about he can take some of rickies PDRA money and go race a pro street bike for a season or 2 since rickie wants to stick his nose in something he'll never do

It's easier to grift the newer richer ones, they have zero use for heros of the sport. Flo Pro will be here soon enough and hopefully they pull back some of the Harley and efi bullshit so as more than 5 bikes are owned/raced not rented!
@koolsolutionszx12r559 ай бұрын
Steve where I agree with you on many details here. I think Jack is a shit stirring little punk for one. Matt Smith is a cry baby for another... HOWEVER...... Matt is 100% CORRECT when he states that V&H Racing cheat in NHRA PSB. They have always had control over the rule book and used it to promote themselves and their business. Why did it take V&H building a billet 4 valve head before NHRA approved Mitch's head? Why did Rick Ward have to make the old MTC head that he bought the rights to and renamed the Vortex head avaliable in numbers that everyone in the class could buy it at any time before they allowed that head? Why was V&H allowed to run that HD program AND NEVER SELL, LEASE, LOAN any of those parts including chassis and body panels? Steve just because you are now profiting from the corruption of V&H doesn't mean they are no longer corrupt. I have to side with Matt on this one. Vance and Hines Racing are the most corrupt company in NHRA. Byron is brilliant but he likes having parts that others can't buy. Jack just needs taken out for a good old fashioned clarification of life rules and he'll either get it or he'll suffer the consequences. Again Steve I'm a fan of yours going all the way back to the ZX11 Kswasaki Slick 50 bike. That was by far your best looking bike ever. But Steve you know as well as we all know.. Vance &Hines Racing CHEAT LIKE HELL.... THEY CHEAT BY HAVING AN OPEN IMPUT ON THE RULES THAT THEY DON'T PLAY BY..
