It got weird there at the end. I know Sale of the Century changed its bonus round several times, but I don't remember when they brought in Major League Baseball players.

Omg, I was on this and had never seen it! I was doing well and then I couldn't hear anything... . I did get some "lovely departing contestant prizes" though. 🤣

Steve, thanks for posting. I have a question. After the game when the winner goes to the back area with all of the prizes, was the audience able to easily see back there? It seems like that area is way far back from the front of the stage.

Interesting question. I'm not sure what the view was like for the audience.

so the Daytime game shows didn't take a summer break (either that or they DID but shjot enough episodes to get through the summer without having to show reruns.)

This is from July 1985, as per Chuck Donegan's tape trading page. ONe game on this week shows had the game decided after a reversed ruling in the Speed Round, according to his page, presumably it was the Friday show as MOn-Thu's shows are here.

Judging by the lights around this car, this around the time Michael Frideman made his appearance on the nighttime Sale.

I always enjoyed this show. How was Jim Perry of screen?
@carrie85414 жыл бұрын
Hope he was better off screen than on because he 's pretty phony on the show.

Hello there Mr. Steve Shapiro! First thing, awesome run on $ale! You did make some decisions on there that paid off, especially that instant bargain that involved $1500 (whew!)! I was wondering if I could interview you based off your $ale experience?

The SPlit Decision pilot that was taped around this time(on DOntryl Alexanders' page) used Julian Lennon's Say You're Wrong going into commercial breaks.
