Alan L well said..short and sweet and I can't say enough how nice this guy is..i hung out with him in the late 90's and I can personally say he is very smart and very respectful..not many people can say they hung out with Steve and played some songs with him

Frank M I wouldn't say he's underrated so to speak. Maybe unknown by younger generations.... But most everybody who's aware of him know what kind of talent he has. I mean I guess u could say he's been overshadowed by Billy Idol. But Billy Idol is well aware that without SS there is no BI.

I grew up w this guy, but didn't appreciate him till much later..Very underated talent..and I didn't realize this untill I learned some of his songs.

Man, not many people realize how thoroughly talented of a musician & guitarist Steve is. He has never really received his "due" , IMO - but it's great to see him make a great living doing it .........

Hero of mine big time. Billy was the first album I got as a child back in the 80s. I’m now a music producer and nothing as talented as this man. For me “Eyes Without A Face” is the greatest song ever made. Used to be “Imagine” by John Lennon but to me it’s replaced that for me. Well it’s very close. Now I make music I truly appreciate what a great writer and producer this man is. I salute you Steve. Love ya man

There's no way billy idols music would be the same without Steve Stevens. When those two collaborated it was straight up rock. I think Steve can do it all when it comes to guitar, but he seems to have no ego and not even realize he is probably the best rock guitarist around.

I wish Franky believed in himself as much as Steve does. I truly believe once he learns to own the charisma the rest will follow. I can't imagine that amount of pressure but I truly believe he can do it and Steve definitely believes in him.

What the fuck...ices tea, Diet Coke, orange juice? How times have changed. At best one brand of european beer. 'Fingers' is one of the most brilliant guitarists in rock history, his ability to play harmonies but shred, and his riffing is sublime. And the range of genre's Steve can cover is amazing. He has many years ahead of him.

When you reach a certain level in rock n roll, you don't give a damn. If was a rock n roller, I would wear what the hell I wanted and give the whole world the finger. That's what it's all about.
