@MythsQueue The real answer is that anything recorded or written using Bungie's materials or during time that Marty was at work (on Bungie's time), is property of Bungie. It was the wrong thing for them to take down the video though. Especially if they aren't going to upload it themselves.

@@VanessaMagick it's not possible to become that good without any talent, so my point was that is an under-evaluation of himself. My more than anyone comment was an exaggeration, iirc he once mentioned having to practice more than others to master certain techniques. I'm sure at a certain point you don't need to practice much at all.

I love watching him improv and put it together one chunk at a time. He'll play a bunch of shit, save one piece, then move on and incorporate that piece into the next time he improvs that part. By the end we have the masterpiece that we all know and love from Halo 2. Fantastic video game/music history. I also really like that Nile had an influence on the riffs used in the final version.
