Great to see this clip of Steve Williams. I read about him in the 1970s when I was growing up. First time I have seen him in an elite field.

WOW I met him on a recruiting trip after the Penn Relays my junior year in high school. Brooks Johnson had me come down for two days at Univ. Of Florida Gainesville and i remember Steve Williams being so nice. He was one of the Top Sprinters with Riddick and Reggie Jones at Univ. Of Tennessee. THEN CAME KING CARL LEWIS!! H E L L O 😁😁
