Great, thanks for sharing Steve! 1979 was the first event, and would really like to see that! I would love to see all years of this great event released on DVD. I was lucky enough to attend in 1983 and it was phenomenal racing!

I was 10 when world of sport on itv Saturday lunch time came on and this is what I wanted to do,like Magoo of course I have red hair but man was he wild! Great memories of top riders and late seventies

Motocross riders are generally the best all around motorcycle riders in every case.

Not necessarily. You have to keep in mind the track surface. Regardless of the layout, its still loose soil like a motocross event. Flat track and tarmac racing never experience this type of terrain so of course a motocross rider is going to excel
